Two former residents pass away

Word has been received on the passing of two former Bredenbury residents. Grant Shearer of Drayton Valley, AB and Doreen Robinson of Abbortsford, BC deepest sympathy to relatives and families from the Town of Bredenbury.

Get well wishes and speedy recovery to Jean Thorsness, Sandy McConnel and Don Low of Yorkton.

The Bredenbury United Church would like to thank all who attended, cooked, worked, donated, or helped in any way to make our luncheon a successful event even though the weather was miserable.

Church services that will be held in Bredenbury for December are: Dec. 13 – 9:30, Dec. 20 – 9:30, Christmas Music Dec. 24 – Christmas Eve at 7:00 p.m. Everyone Welcome to attend. No service held Nov. 29 or Dec. 27.

White Gift items for Salvation Army or Shelwin House can be left at the church on Dec. 13 or 20.

Craft Sale – Nov. 28, 10:00 – 2:00 Bredenbury Community Hall. Lunch available.

Nut & Fruit Truck will be in town Sat., Nov. 28 at the Busy Bees from 9:30-3:00 p.m.

Don’t forget the holiday train on Sunday, Dec. 6 followed by a fundraiser Glow Skate for Chad Young.

Elaine, Perry and Peter Janett were in Saskatoon this past weekend to attend the ceremony where Cole Janett of Saskatoon received the scholarship of Honour Award recognizing the armed forces, veterans and families from the Saskatchewan Government.

Bredenbury Cougars are doing well. Come out & support the team and community.
