The Kamsack Hospital and Nursing Home laboratory department will be experiencing temporary service interruptions for outpatient services due to a critical staff shortage.

The Kamsack Hospital and Nursing Home laboratory department will be experiencing temporary service interruptions for outpatient services due to a critical staff shortage.

On days when the laboratory services are unavailable to outpatients, signage will be posted at all Kamsack facilities and physician offices to notify the public, said a release from Sunrise Health Region. Canora Hospital laboratory is available as an option for services on days when the Kamsack lab is unavailable.

Sunrise Health Region has been actively recruiting to fill the staff shortage and thanks residents for understanding and patience during this temporary situation, the release said.

To confirm Kamsack outpatient lab availability prior to visits, clients may call the Sunrise Health Region Information Line at 306-1-866-800-5510.
