Spring Expo brought out eager shoppers

The second annual Preeceville Spring Expo trade show welcomed 72 vendors and many eager shoppers hoping for a glimpse at what is new for the season.

            The second annual Preeceville Spring Expo trade show welcomed 72 vendors and many eager shoppers hoping for a glimpse at what is new for the season. The show was sponsored by the Preeceville Fire Department and was held at the Preeceville Skating Arena on April 15 and 16.

            Vendors included: Imagine Yarn, Canora Yarn, Town of Preeceville EDC, Shelwin House, Scentsy, Maple Farm Equipment, Benok Exteriors, Eugene Tretiak, Problem Solved, Crossroads Credit Union, Terry Leblanc, wax reading by Linda Greba, Seacret products, Dianne Mateush with baking, Mackenzie Society, Family Resource Centre, D.R. Auto Extras, Incredible Edibles, Gateway Co-op, Rhonda Leibel with her new book Young Living, Rada, Specialized Builders, Kalediscope jewelry, Yorkton Hyundai, Sask Alpaca, Culligan, Sun Coast enclosures, Nerium, Water clinic, Just Rite, Ketchen Lake Bible Camp, Juice plus, 31 product line, Carico, DJ Ax, Made in the Shade blinds, Bamboo for Life, DO Terra bars and soaps, Mitch beauty cosmetics, West Country Photo, Parkland Jewelry, Lena’s lamps, Hair 2000 clay jewelry, Tupperware, Friendly Acre seeds, Paul’s Drugs Store and Orest Lewchuk who provided sweet treats.

            Michelle Dodge of Touch of Class and Loranda Blender of Loranda’s Hair Salon both provided haircuts for a small cost.

The Minion characters and Sparky the Dog were in attendance at the trade show.

            The Preeceville Fire Department gave fire truck rides.

            Members of the St. John Lutheran and Trinity United churches each hosted bake sales on separate days.

            Entertainment as provided by Willie Jakubowski and Company, Woodland Chorus, Pastor Hein Bertram, Taylor Belesky, the Pinaroc family, Lynell Person and the Ukrainian dancers.

            The main lunch counter provided a perogie-and-ham supper and the pancake breakfast was served by Heather Pottle.

            Free movies sponsored by the Town of Preeceville recreation department featured The Good Dinosaur, Pitch Perfect 2, Sisters and Minions.Ìý
