YORKTON -

The Ford of Canada ‘We Scare Hunger’ Food Drive is back in Yorkton for another year.

Locally, the Royal Auto Group in cooperation with the following schools, St. Michael's School, St. Paul's School, Yorkdale Central School, St. Alphonsus School, Columbia School, St. Mary's School, Dr. Brass School, Yorkton Nursery School Co-operative, Sacred Heart High School and Yorkton Regional High School, is continuing the effort.

This year, the goal is to surpass last year's collection of more than 650 kgs of non-perishable food donations.

People are asked to please drop off their food donations at a participating school, Royal Ford or Royal Honda from Oct. 24 to 31.

All donations will go to The Soup Haven, a non-profit charitable organization that provides daily nutritional lunches to more than 250 local school children.
