Saskatoon police ask Rosewood residents to check video for info

Friday and Saturday searches will include checking bodies of water.

SASKATOON — Update: Nuzhat Tabassum has been found deceased.

Original release: The Saskatoon Police Service is continuing to request public assistance in locating missing person Nuzhat Tabassum.

Friday and Saturday, search teams including the Saskatoon Fire Department and Saskatoon Emergency Measures Organization will be in the Rosewood area. These searches will include checking bodies of water in these areas.

The SPS is also requesting anyone in the Rosewood neighbourhood and surrounding urban or rural areas to check their video surveillance for Nuzhat. Investigators believe the period of 5 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. on July 10 could contain vital information.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Nuzhat Tabassum is asked to contact the Saskatoon Police Service at 306-975-8300 or, in an emergency, 911. Anonymous information can also be provided to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
