Saskatoon Police arrest two people, seize weapons, drugs

Saskatoon Police seized a collapsible baton, brass knuckles, a fixed blade knife, three gun barrels, and a satchel containing a small amount of methamphetamine.

SASKATOON – The Saskatoon Police Service Crime Reduction Team charged two people and seized weapons and drugs.

On Nov. 29 at approximately 6:15 p.m., a 32-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman were arrested in the 100 block of Betts Avenue, in connection to an investigation.

Then on Nov. 30, 2022, at around 2:15 a.m., the SPS Tactical Support Unit assisted in securing and searching a home in the 400 block of Bowman Crescent.

A search of the suspects and the residence resulted in the seizure of a collapsible baton, brass knuckles, a fixed blade knife, three gun barrels, and a satchel containing a small amount of methamphetamine.

The 32-year-old man was charged with two counts of possession of a dangerous weapon (brass knuckles, collapsible baton), possession of a concealed weapon, and breach of conditions.

The 35-year-old woman was charged with possession of a dangerous weapon, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), and breach of conditions.
