Preeceville Kindergarten acknowledged 30 students

The Preeceville School Kindergarten students welcomed their parents and special guests to a graduation ceremony to acknowledge their achievements. The ceremony was held at the Preeceville School on June 17.

Students acknowledged were: Peyton Lisoway, Hannah Singkala, Wyatt Scheller, Ireland Zuk, Claire Masko, Chloe Bourassa, Leah Thideman, Lily Kinneard, Jillaine Barnachea, Margaret Ivanochko, Eves Singkala, Dexter Penner, Sydney Koloski, Trinity Petras, Macey Mitchell, Savannah Neilson, MacKenna Firman, Maria Angulvan, Anebeth Bartel, Sydney DeRuiter, Seth Reynolds, Jaxon Nelson, Jackson Strykowski, Boden Heskin, Alexander Acosta, Nicholai Belesky, Ely Zambrano, Braxton Danielson, Blake Descalchuk and Rhone Darmochid.

Bonnie Lisitza, teacher, welcomed everyone to the graduation ceremony and introduced each student as he or she entered the gymnasium.

Doug King, principal, spoke briefly on the students’ year of progress and achievements.

The program portion featured students singing and reciting various songs and poems.

The class performed Do You Remember; When I was One; ABC Blues; Alphabet Poem; Body Math; Head and Shoulders; Baby 1 ,2 3, and Humpty Dumpty counting song, nursery rhymes and Down on Grandpa's Farm.

The boys of the class performed Around the World. The girls performed Off to First Grade.

Sydney DeRuiter and Wyatt Scheller recited What We Did this Year.

The entire class performed a Kindergarten dance followed by sharing Kindergarten memories.

Lisitza presented graduation scrolls at the conclusion of the ceremony.
