A staff member reported that two armed men had entered the store, demanded cash, and fled the scene.

On Oct. 25, at approximately 1 p.m., members of the GGU and the Tactical Support Unit attended to a garage behind the home.

The suspect was apprehended a few hours later after a small fire was set inside the garage.

While investigating the robbery, the SPS GGU was able to determine that the suspect was wanted by the Regina Police Service for first-degree murder.
