One team left in provincial run

The Preeceville Pats midgets and peewee teams ended their provincial runs but still continue to play regular games and playoffs. The bantams are the only team scheduled to still play for a provincial title.

The Preeceville Pats midgets and peewee teams ended their provincial runs but still continue to play regular games and playoffs.

The bantams are the only team scheduled to still play for a provincial title. They are scheduled to play Wynyard on February 24 at Wynyard and will play a return game in Preeceville on February 26.

            The Preeceville peewees ended their provincial run on February 7 when Watrous defeated them with a final score of 8-3. Scoring were: Seth Hort, Jillian Tonn and Todd Pankratz. Assists were by Jakob Turchinetz and Jillian Tonn.

            Other teams in action featured the atoms defeating Yorkton on January 23 with a final score of 13-2. Scoring were: Chaz Jaeb (two goals),Kaiden Masley (three goals), Brady Kashuba (two goals), Aaron Cudal, Zachary Sorgen (three goals), Zander Purdy and Tate Bayer. Assists were by Nathan Anaka, Aaron Cudal and Kaiden Masley.

            The peewees faced off against Melville on January 24 with a final score of 7-4. Scoring for the Pats were: Trever Geistlinger (two goals), Todd Pankratz (two goals), Dustin Shankowsky (two goals) and Brynn Babiuk.

            Kamsack was defeated on January 31 when the peewee Pats faced off against them in home game action. The final score was 6-1. Scoring for the Pats were: Todd Pankratz (two goals), Jakob Turchinetz, Shae Peterson, Seth Hort and Brynn Babiuk.

            The bantams defeated Melville on January 26 with a final score of 5-4. Scoring were: Cody Hort (three goals), Peyton Shewchuk, and Dawson Paul. They also took on the Ochapowace First Nation team on February 3 in a very one-sided game that ended in a 21-1 victory. Scoring were: Dawson Paul (two goals), Peyton Shewchuk (three goals), Cody Hort (seven goals), Dylan Wiwcharuk, Jessie Biletski, (two goals), Connor Nagy (two goals), Elijiah Hort, Tyler Kopeck (two goals) and Seth Rayner.
