Midget Pats win first provincial game

The Preeceville Midget Pats defeated Prairie Storm, which plays out of Balgonie, in the first game of two-game, total-point series in the Pats’ run for the provincial title on January 22. The win was in front of a packed arena.

The Preeceville Midget Pats defeated Prairie Storm, which plays out of Balgonie, in the first game of two-game, total-point series in the Pats’ run for the provincial title on January 22. The win was in front of a packed arena.

            Because it is a two-game, total-point series, the Pats go into the deciding game on January 28 in Balgonie with a one-goal advantage.

            Scoring for the Pats were: Bryce Pelechaty (three goals), Bo Babiuk and Cole Wiwcahruk. Assists were made by Tyler Shankowsky, Tanner Kopeck and Cole Wiwcharuk.
