Original story:
SASKATOON – A 36-year-old man arrested in a high-risk take-down in December failed to appear in court and a bench warrant to hold was issued.
Aaron Krushelniski didn't appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court as scheduled on Jan. 26. If he fails to appear in court Feb. 10 the judge may choose to activate the warrant.
Krushelniski was charged following a month-long investigation by the Saskatoon Police Drug Unit. On Dec. 17, the Drug and the Tactical Support Unit executed a high-risk search warrant on a home in the 100 block of Cartier Crescent.
At the residence police seized a rifle with a high capacity magazine, a homemade suppressor, a handgun, approximately 54 grams of cocaine packaged for sale, and a small amount of cash.
Krushelniski was charged with 11 firearms-related offences, possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, and possession of the proceeds of crime.
The charges against Krushelniski haven’t been proven in court.
