From left, members of the Canora Composite School group who participated in the Global Vision Western Canada Round Table in Vancouver on February 4-6, were: Dale Weinbender, Mina Mykytyshyn, Simone Achmus (teacher/chaperone), Megan Tomilin and Benjamin Kuang. The CCS students were four of the 11 students representing Saskatchewan at the event which hosted university and high school students from various communities across Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and B.C. Global Vision is a program that gives youth across Canada the opportunity to make government, business and social justice connections, explained Mykytyshyn on behalf of the Canora students. “It encourages motivated youth to be community leaders locally, nationally and internationally.â€
