Shane, Terra, Riley and Ashalee Talbot and Jennifer Gibson, a family friend, from Moose Jaw have recently returned from a very enjoyable trip to California. They visited Sea World, Disneyland, San Diego Zoo and Legoland to mention a few of their destinations.
Rudy and Gudrun Stadel have had his brother, Jack Stadel of Richmond, BC here to visit during the past month. While here, they all motored to Regina to visit with brothers, Leonard, Wally and Gordon Markwart, who had lived on a neighbouring farm to the Stadel brothers back in Neudorf when they were all children. Both families had enough children for a good ball team so surely one topic of conversation was fastball which they played as team members but also had a few rival family games. The Stadels motored to Lemberg another afternoon to have a visit with Gordon Yeadon, another school buddy. Some of these boys had not seen each other for over 55 years. Rudy, Gudrun and Jack also motored to Canora to spend some time with another brother, Art and Sylvia Stadel. Jack spent a couple weeks also staying with them before returning home to BC.
Monday marked the end of summer holidays when the children returned to the halls of learning. There are no new kindergarten students riding the bus from Dubuc area this year. Paisley Duchek is in grade one and is the only one getting on the bus to join the country kids when it stop
