A lovely "carols and candles" Interdenominational Community Christmas service was held in the Dubuc Worship Centre on the evening of Sat., Dec. 22. Rev. Walter Farquarson of Saltcoats was the worship leader. Glenna Griffith of Atwater, as organist, lead the congregation in music and song. The children in attendance were very helpful as they handed out bulletins and candles to everyone as they arrived, lit the advent candles, passed the offering plates, gave candy canes out to everyone after the service ended, gathered the hymnaries and candles and helped the committee pack the Christmas décor away. It was a great way to remember the "reason for the season" and share fellowship with each other.
