The monthly community birthday party was held as usual on the fourth Wednesday of April. First, those that had gathered played games and cards which were followed by a lovely lunch and, of course, birthday cake. By lunch time, several more hungry stragglers had arrived to join the group. Earle Moller was the only April "baby" so he blew out the candles while everyone sang a chorus of Happy Birthday. May you have a happy healthy year, Earle. On another note, Leonard and Gladys Simle moved from the Prairie Manor senior units to Sumner Place in Esterhazy at the beginning of April. It was nice to have Gladys back in our midst for an afternoon. At lunch time, a farewell gift was presented to Gladys by Leona Kaczur on behalf of all their friends and neighbours here in Dubuc. Gladys spoke a few words of thanks and invited everyone to stop by and see them in their new home.

Coffee, scones and delicious ginger snap cookies were the treats of the day when Earle Moller bought coffee on Saturday for his birthday. There were 20 in attendance to wish Earle a very happy birthday. Much visiting took place with quite a bit of conversation around the cold, wet and windy weather we've been experiencing of late.

It's good to report that Ted Ellwood is back home after a week in the hospital in Saskatoon. It was nice to see you back at coffee row. Get well wishes from everyone.

Art and Marie Lambie of Yorkton were visitors with Mary Forsberg last Wednesday. Grandson, Dallas and Danya Forsberg, of Regina also visited her overnight on the weekend.

Coffee row should be a little livelier again! Doug Morley has returned from a two week holiday to the southern States. Also, Susan and Leon Powell are back from a week long business trip Â鶹ÊÓƵ of the border. Welcome back, guys!

Sympathy of the community to the family and friends of Terry Loutitt who passed away on April 20 in Esterhazy at the age of 60 years. Rest in Peace!
