Crime Incidents in Dinsmore, Lucky Lake

Events highlight criminal activity in small town areas

A pair of incidents being investigated by the RCMP is shedding light on the fact that small towns are certainly no strangers to being affected by crime of all types.

The Outlook RCMP is presently investigating a Break and Enter that occurred in Dinsmore around March 30.  Unknown subjects were said to have entered the village office and proceeded to steal cash and other items.

Photos were posted on the Village of Dinsmore's Facebook page showing two people of interest that the RCMP wanted to speak with.  As a result of those posts, RCMP received a number of tips from the public that assisted in identifying the people of interest.  The RCMP will continue to investigate and have been in contact with both people.  The RCMP stresses that these people have not been identified as suspects, only people of interest.

The other incident took place on Friday, April 28 at approximately 2:00 p.m. when Swift Current Rural RCMP executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) warrant at a residence on 2nd Avenue North in Lucky Lake.
