YORKTON - What is hoped to become an annual affair Yorkton Comic Con was hosted by Blue Drip Art Supplies Saturday.

The event included several tables and displays and special guests.

The guests included Saskatchewan comic book writer Jeff Burton and Saskatchewan artist Jason Sylvester.

Originally from Humboldt, and now living in Englefeld, Sask. Burton is best known as the creator and writer of The Adventures of Auroraman.

Sylvestre’s career start is also solidly rooted in Saskatchewan.

The Saskatchewan books, ‘You Might be from Saskatchewan If’ launched his career, with a line of books across Canada -- there are books for Manitoba, the east coast and more.
