Kamsack Mayor Rod Gardner and his wife Vi (at left) were among the district residents to greet Premier Brad Wall last week when he was campaigning in Canora with Terry Dennis, the SaskParty candidate for the Canora-Pelly Constituency. On April 4, Dennis was elected to succeed Ken Krawetz as the Canora-Pelly MLA with 4,249 votes, according to election night results. Theresa Wilson obtained 1,297 votes for the New Democratic Party; Merv Malish, 411 for the Progressive Conservative party; Kyle Budz, 188 for the Liberals; Rachel Gregoire, 100 for the Green party, and David Sawkiw, 51 for the Western Independence Party.
