Approximately 350 quads took part in a quad derby on Saturday.
Congratulations to the winners who were: for the riders: 1st prize was won by Kris Michalchuk of Yorkton; 2nd prize was won by Harold Bilokreli of Yorkton; 3rd prize was won by Katie Prazmz of Langenburg.
For the silent riders: 1st prize was won by Eva Knott of Bredenbury; 2nd prize was won by McKenzie Debman of Spy Hill; 3rd prize was won by Gladi Andrew of Bredenbury.
The lions club would like to thank all who worked and took part in making this a successful event.
Many folks from town attended the church service in Langenburg on Sunday performed by Prairie Blend. The service was very much enjoyed by all.
The Leaps and Bounds dance recital was a huge success again in Langenburg, several of our local children took part in the dancing. You've all done a fine job of dancing girls. The grandma's and grandpa's, aunties and uncles all really enjoyed your dancing.
The hockey wind-up took place Saturday night with a banquet and dance which was well attended. I hear the food was really good. A Cuts for Cancer took place after the banquet and raised a nice sum of money.
The United Church ladies would like to thank all who worked, donated and attended the church luncheon last Wednesday, this will be the last luncheon til the fall season.
Mark your calendars for Mothers Day, May 13th, there will be a Mothers Day brunch put on by the Lions to be held at the Busy Bees center. Take Mom out for brunch!!
