The Lions Community Picnic and Centennial Kick off has been rescheduled to Tues., May 28, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. on the 200 block of 3rd Street. The Lions will be hosting their annual Community Picnic with a Centennial kick Off. There will be free hot dogs, hamburgers, beans, salads and ice cream. Everyone Welcome. Hopefully the weather will co-operate by then but if not the Community Hall will be utilized for the event.
The Centennial Celebrations will still go on even though the skating rink will probably not be able to be used. Some large tents have been rented and checking into getting more. Please watch for more details as to the location of where the events will go on. Some of the street banners have been received and the rest have been ordered. They are hoping to have some of them up for the Kick Off May 28. Orders will still be taken if you would like to order one for your family. Contact town office or Fred Nicholson.
