BREDENBURY - Joint service planned

There will be church services at 10:20 a.m. on Sun., Nov. 17 at the Bredenbury United Church. Joint Services in Langenburg on Sun., Nov. 24 at 10:00 a.m. Everyone Welcome. Cougars played their first game against Whitewood on Sat. evening. 5-4.

Cougars played their first game against Whitewood on Sat. evening. 5-4. Next game will be in Churchbridge on Fri., Nov. 8 against Theodore. Cougar home games will be played in Churchbridge until the rink is ready.

Thanks to all who supported our beef dinner at the United Church. Thanks to those who donated food, worked, delivered dinners or helped in anyway. Our next dinner will be Wed., Nov. 20 at 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Everyone Welcome.

Annual Craft & trade Show will be held in the Bredenbury Community Hall on Sat., Nov. 30 from 10:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m. Silver Collection at door. Lunch available. Sponsored by Knox United Church.

The Town of Bredenbury intends on having a sale of old lights, timers, extension cords, etc. during the Bredenbiry Craft Show on Nov. 30.

There is no longer a Christmas Light Committee in Bredenbury. Please let as many people know as possible that Bredenbury is no longer hosting the Annual Light Up Festival, so that people don't drive to Bredenbury and are disappointed. Thank you all for your past support. All good things must come to an end. Residents please feel free to decorate your own homes for the holiday season.

The C.P.R. Holiday Train will stop in Bredenbury, Wed., Dec. 4, 2013 at 12:40. C.P.R. is hosting a photo contest "Capture the Spirit" for everyone to enter online on Facebook.

There will be paper grocery bags for children to decorate in local schools called "Decorate and Donate" Program. These bags should be brought to the train filled with collected non-perishable food that will be given to the Salvation Army.

The entertainers that will be in Bredenbury will be Melanie Doane and Doc Walker.
