Sun., July 29, Bredenbury Golf Course held their open golf tournament with 33 golfers taking part in the tournament. Juniors - Brendan Derbowka 88, Senior Ladies - 1st, Elaine Kaeding 93, Ladies - Cassie Kaeding 102, Mens - Don St. Marie 73, Senior Men - Ken Morrison 90, Super 80+ Seniors - Ming Wong 78, Longest drive - Craig Kaeding, Closest to pin - Dustin Leppington. Draws - 4 pass Deer Park & $125 Gift Certificate to Mano's was won by Sherry Johnson, Key Chev Olds Oil changes were won by Heather Taylor & Dustin Leppington.

A delicious steak supper with all the trimming and delicious desserts were served to all the golfers and twenty extra suppers to the spectators. Thanks to the ladies who prepared this delicious meal and the cooks. Great to see so many out to support the golfers. Don't forget next tournament will be "Night Golf" Sept. 8. Watch for posters.

Stopping by Bredenbury for a visit were Margaret and Ron Sarauer from Prince George, BC. They enjoyed touring through Bredenbury seeing the site where her grandparents house once stood and other sites both new and old. They continued on to Good Spirit Lake where they visited with cousins Adrian & Louise McLaclan, Bob Bradshaw, Fran & Wendy Stevenson.

Adrian & Louise McLachlan enjoyed many days at their cabin with their daughter Lana and grandson Mario from Seattle.

Margaret Nicholson travelled to Calgary with Ed & Kendra Abigail Patzwald this weekend to attend the wedding of her neice.

The Berg sisters, Darlene, Arlene, and Victoria motored to Cranbrook, to celebrate the 75th birthday of their cousin Kaye Hanson (Symons) which was a complete surprise. They were gone for five days.

Gerald and Darlene Burman drove to Minnedosa to spend the night with their daughter Penny and Charlie who were camping there.

Sympathy goes to the family and friends of the late Cliff Taylor who passed away recently.

Irene Badowich joined her daughter Debbie Bulitz and family and drove to Spokane, Washington. They visited Irene's daughter Terri and family there.

Gordon Berg of Regina visited Gerald and Darlene Burman over night Saturday, then on to see Arlene in Yorkton.

Shirley Kirkwood spent the long weekend with her family at the lake, enjoyed a fishfry at Andy's which topped off a perfect day.

Jimm and Ann Purvis spent the weekend with Yvonne Ethier, also visiting friends & family at Swan River & Birch River.

Visiting with Glenn Cowan for a couple weeks was his brother-in-law Stan Bembridge of Edmonton, AB. It was nice to see you again Stan.
