The KCI senior drama club staged A Nose for the News, which is a comedy by Charlie Lovett based on the story of Cyrano de Bergerac, at the Saskatchewan Drama Association’s Region 4 senior drama competition at Sacred Heart High School in Yorkton on March 11. Members of the cast, from left, were: Elizabeth Hilderman as Valerie; Samantha Klapatiuk as Patricia; Devin Klapatiuk as Mr. Gauche; Breanna Bland, Claire; Henry Thomas, Spice; Koryssa Woloshyn, Delores; Mikayla Woloshyn, Roxanne; Alanna Finnie, Cyrano; Kyle Morgan, Chris; Jayden Raabel, Flip; Lemay Keshane, Martha, and Julianna Raabel, Brett, and (seated) Alyia Montana, Ray; Brayden Fatteicher, Droopy the Clown, and Allison Placatka, Lisa. The drama club will be re-staging the comedy at the KCI as a dinner theatre on April 5, and a final performance will be staged on April 7.
