SASKATOON — Saskatoon Police services says the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit has charged a city man with multiple child pornography offences.

The investigation involves the distribution of child pornography over multiple social media platforms and over a time-span of several months.

On May 4, investigators with the ICE unit and SPS patrol executed a search warrant at the residence which had been identified as where the offences were occurring. Forensic examination of several electronic devices was conducted and, on June 1, Aiden Bohle, 19, turned himself into police and is charged with:

  • three counts of making available child pornography;
  • four counts of possession of child pornography.

He appeared Wednesday afternoon in Provincial Court on these charges.

The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service, and Prince Albert Police Service. Their mandate is to investigate crimes involving the abuse and/or exploitation of children on the Internet.
