On Wednesday October 16th, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. the Yorkton RCMP received multiple complaints from the public of a dangerous driver on Highway #9 North of Yorkton.
RCMP officers located the suspect vehicle and after several attempts stopped theÌývehicle from moving further and took the driver into custody.ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý
An 18 year old female was taken into custodyÌýwithout incident.Ìý She will attend Yorkton Provincial Court on Oct 17, 20 to speak to multiple charges includingÌýimpaired operation of a motorÌývehicle,Ìýdangerous operation of a motor vehicle,Ìýfail to stop for a peace officer, operate a motor vehicle while prohibited,Ìýmischief under $5000,Ìýutter threats, possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 and 3 counts of fail to comply with anÌýJudge's undertaking.
No injury was reported to the public or any involved parties due to the involved officer's quick response and the public's assistance.
