It has been brought to the attention of the Yorkton RCMP that culprits have tried to secure damage and rental deposits for sale properties which are not theirs.
This is a reminder to exercise caution when replying to ads for rental properties.
Ensure you speak directly with the realtor or home owner. Do not e-transfer, wire or mail any money if you can not verify the property representative's identity and information.
