The kids at the Boys and Girls Club in Yorkton know that a lemonade stand is a great way to make a little extra money, so the older group of kids, aged 8-11, organized a sale of their own.

The kids did all the work, getting donations from area businesses, doing the marketing, and designing all of the posters. The goal was to give them a chance to learn how to earn some money as well as give back to the community.

For a donation, people are able to have some lemonade or iced tea and a cookie. The fundraiser will run until 5:00 p.m.
Ìý
All money raised will go to kids, whether that’s for a treat for the different groups at the Boys and Girls Club, the nearby daycare, or the Boys and Girls Club itself.
