YORKTON - A ‘Spoken Word Poetry Coffee House’ was held Friday as part of Culture Days Yorkton.
Free My Muse was on hand to guide the process of creating Spoken Word Poetry in a coffee house style environment – the event was held at M Coffee House.
The first part of the evening session was a hybrid workshop explaining Spoken Word Poetry and then tools to create it. A poem would be created by each participant.
The second part of the session would focus on sharing the poems created with the broader group.
