The Yorkton Lions Club renewed a long-term commitment to Dr. Brass School Friday by again making a donation to the Yorkton school鈥檚 breakfast program.
鈥淭he Dr. Brass Breakfast Program wouldn鈥檛 exist as awesome as it does,鈥� without the support of the Lions Club, said principal Jason Gordon.
The club has been making an annual donation of $2,500 for 鈥渦pwards of 15 years,鈥� he added.
Lion Denny Vachon told the assembled students Friday morning the Lions look forward each year to attending the school in the spring to cook up a pancake breakfast for students, and that ties into the annual donation to support the breakfast program.
