Food is a focus of the Yorkton Farmer鈥檚 Market, and they鈥檙e helping others put food on their own tables. The vendors at the Farmer鈥檚 Market got together to make a contribution to the Salvation Army Food Bank. In total, they gave $225 to the Food Bank.
Brendon Purton with the farmer鈥檚 market said they felt that the Food Bank is an important asset to the community, and anything someone could donate makes a difference.

Samuel Tim said that this donation means they can buy more produce and canned goods for people in the community, and support more people.
