Beware: There may be a Viking invasion being planned.
At least members of the Loki’s Brood Viking Group, dedicated to the re-enactment of all things Viking, were in a city park Wednesday evening honing their skills with axe, sword and shield.
The group, with members just not from Yorkton, but points across Saskatchewan and Manitoba meet regular to test their mettle as fighters as well as work on other Viking skills from putting the feathers on their arrows, to making clothes from the era.
