We are all aware Old Man Winter is getting ever closer to his unwanted arrival.
This morning we woke to just a little reminder of that fact as a layer of snow was on vehicles, trees and shrubbery, having fallen overnight.
The snow that has arrived is not likely to stay long, but temperatures are not expected to get very high today, so it will be around for a few hours.
