TOGO — The Togo Skating Club recently hosted its much-anticipated event, Winter Wonderland, at the Togo Centennial Arena.
The March 3 event showcased the talent and hard work of the club's skaters in a series of captivating performances set to beloved musical soundtracks.
The evening commenced with O Canada, led by flagbearers Meredith Burback, Lucas Stone and Jacy Marteniuk, setting a patriotic tone for the festivities. The program featured a diverse array of performances, each demonstrating the skaters' dedication and skill. The grand finale, set to the classic Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow! brought the evening to a festive close, with the audience invited to enjoy complimentary refreshments before the show concluded.
In closing remarks, the club expressed gratitude to Coach Laney Hancock for her invaluable guidance and support throughout the season. They also extended appreciation to the skaters for their hard work and dedication, as well as to the parents, volunteers, and sponsors who contributed to the success of the event.
