Town of Kamsack hosts Orange Shirt Day barbecue

On the Sept. 29, the Kamsack town council held an Orange Shirt Day barbecue in recognition of the national day for Truth and Reconciliation.

KAMSACK - On the 29th of September, the Kamsack town council held an Orange Shirt Day barbecue in recognition of the national day for Truth and Reconciliation, where everyone was invited to have a burger, drink, and cookie for free. The event was sponsored by Save On Foods and CLAAS Canada West Harvest Centre. The event brought out a large crowd of people in support of Orange Shirt Day. It was approximated that about 400 cookies were handed out, and around 250 burgers.
