Matt Procyshen of Yorkton topped the 2015 Golden Duck match play golf championship had at the Madge Lake Golf Resort held August 21, 22 and 23.
The 33rd Golden Duck attracted more than 90 participants. It began in 1980 and has been held each year since, with the exceptions of 1996, 1997 and 1998.
The event had a winner of a hole-in-one: Les Schmidt of Madge Lake, who took home a prize of $3,500.
Jim Wright of Kamsack defeated Dustin Sas of Benito, Man., to win the first flite, while Darren Driscoll of Calgary defeated Jay Jesky to top the second flite, and Drew Labelle of Yorkton defeated Brad Wychesko of Yorkton to win the third flite.
Following are the other flite winners: Cam Driscoll of Calgary defeated Sheldon Kitzul of Yorkton to win the fourth flite; Dave Placatka of Kamsack defeated Floyd Puchala of Yorkton, fifth flite; Jason Duran of Regina defeated Les Fedorak of Kamsack, sixth flite; Brad Sigmeth of Regina defeated Scott Johnson of Yorkton, seventh flite; Taryn Broda of Madge Lake defeated Austin Thomas of Kamsack, eighth flite; Wayne Chernoff defeated Zac McIntyre of Madge Lake, ninth flite; Rob Ritchie defeated Brad Smorodin of Madge Lake, 10th flite, and Darcy Green of Kamsack defeated Tom Jordens Jr. of Regina, 11thflite.
