Eric Harper took to the stage for the final concert for the Whitehawk Arts Council Stars for Saskatchewan series. Harper performed in Preeceville on February 13.

Miles Russell, chairperson for Whitehawk Arts Council, welcomed everyone and introduced Harper prior to the performance.

"We welcome Eric Harper in our final concert in the series of three concerts that we scheduled for this season," he said.

Harper creates a style that is not only all his own, but his music is melodically entrancing,  ferocious and harmonically soul-stirring to the core, according to his website.

Born in a small “po-dunk” town in Arkansas, raised in Portugal, schooled by the Romani in Spain and currently living amongst the Canucks in Canada, Harper brought a fusion of music never experienced before from a “redneck.”

Harper has performed all around the globe from Portugal to China, Canada to Mexico, and Switzerland to Israel and many more countries.
