Deer Park Ladies Golf starts this week. The first Tuesday/Thursday "morning" golf (starting May 17 and May 19 at 10:00 a.m.) and the first Wednesday Night Ladies (starting May 18 - shot gun at 5:30 p.m.). Come out and join us for golf. The 14th Annual Brayden Ottenbreit Close Cuts for Cancer Head-Shaving Event along with the OneMatch "5 Minutes For The Fight" Bone Marrow & Stem Cell Cheek Swab Event will be held on Sat., May 28 beginning at 10 a.m. at the Parkland Mall. Head-shave participants may pick up pledge packages from the Canadian Cancer Society office located at 29 Second Avenue N (Lower Level), Yorkton during regular office hours or by contacting the Ottenbreit family at 783-2637 or [email protected]. Online registrations for the Head-Shave and OneMatch are available at www.braydenscutsforcancer.com. Anyone interested in submitting a tribute for someone who is currently battling cancer (In Honour) or someone who has lost the fight (In Memory) is encouraged to submit a picture and short description to [email protected] before Sat., May 21st.
