CANORA - Principal Kim Eiteneier presented the Administrator’s remarks at the CCS graduation, and emphasized that graduation is a special occasion.
“I am so glad our grads could share one final moment together as a group to celebrate their accomplishments,” said Eiteneier.
“Thank you, to the parents, to the grads, and Mr. Lowes, who dedicated their time and effort to organize this wonderful event.
“Thirteen years together as a group for one last time to celebrate, and for some of you that is just fine and for others it is a sad day. You may not see each other until your 10-year reunion and that is the simple truth as you venture out into your own pathways. So, it is fitting that today we commemorate the road that you have travelled on the last few years with this great celebration.”
Eiteneier indicated that the journey toward graduation no doubt began with tentative steps for some, “but it is one that has taken you to remarkable heights. We have encountered some trials and tribulations along the way, especially the last few years, but soldiered on to come out much stronger. We have experienced exceptional moments, magical moments, and created memories that will fondly come to mind in the years ahead.
“Day by day you focused on your goals, keeping together, and working together to achieve those goals. You faced some incredible memorable moments, moments that you can choose as your steppingstone as you pursue common goals. Finally, you met one and all, here today, as a group of CCS students for the final time."
Eiteneier indicated its’s quite likely that many of the graduates don’t remember their first day of school.
“But l am almost certain you will never forget this day; a ceremony signaling the end of something special but the beginning of something more special.
“May your years ahead continue to be characterized by empathy, compassion, objectivity, and willingness to take risks and succeed. May you always lead by example, work hard and play straight. May your successes be many and your tribulations be far and few between,” said Eiteneier.
“From the entire staff at CCS and from all your teachers and support staff that have assisted you along the way, we congratulate you and wish you nothing but the best for the future.”
