Canora Junior Elementary School has a new group of trained safety patrollers to help students safely cross the street throughout the 2022/23 school year. Sgt. Derek Friesen of the Canora RCMP Detachment visited the school on Oct. 6 to oversee the training of the Grade 4 students who make up the new CJES Safety Patrol Troop, assisted by Rhonda Exner, Grade 4 teacher.
