Farmers' Market boasts wide variety of items to satisfy many different appetites.
The
Canora Tourism Committee hosted its first Farmers' Market of the season on June 15. Participating vendors proudly displayed a variety of items, including: homemade baking, arts and crafts, woodwork, and all-natural body care products.“This is the first year we have started it so early in June, so we didn’t have that busy lake crowd that we usually have, but a lot of vendors did very well,” reported Brandi
Zavislak, committee member and community development officer. “We had a great turn out for the
Canora Tourism Committee’s first barbecue fundraiser of the season. We have a great team of dedicated volunteers who always show up and work very hard.”
Zavislak said all funds raised are going towards two new town welcome signs on the south and north entrances to
Canora.
“All community events we are hosting are beneficial to our business community by drawing in a lot of tourism and consumers,” she concluded.
