Firefighter Shannon Leson was busy flipping pancakes to make sure everyone was well fed at the Canora & District Firefighters Pancake Breakfast, held as part of Fire Prevention Week at the fire hall on Oct. 14. This year鈥檚 theme was 鈥淐ooking Safety Starts with You.鈥� Fire Chief Jess Harper said he and the other firefighters were happy to bring the event back after an unplanned absence due to COVID-19.
