CANORA — On December 10, River Ridge Fish and Game held their antler measuring night at the Activity Centre in Canora with 31 heads brought in. Floyd Hendrickson, a certified Henry Kelsey measurer was kept busy all evening, assisted by his wife Dianne, according to Kathy Thomas, River Ridge president.
“There were three antelope, one bear, one elk, two moose, 16 typical white-tailed deer, three non-typical white-tailed deer and five mule deer, with 12 of these being youth entries,” reported Thomas. “I was amazed at the caliber of the youth entries.”
Kate Lockert, River Ridge member, looked after entering the scores on the computer.
