EDMONTON — Police in Edmonton say they are investigating the death of a five-month-old girl as a homicide.Â
They say the infant was admitted to the Stollery Hospital with life-threatening injuries on March 7.Â
The police service's child protection section began to investigate the next day. Â
The infant was pronounced dead on March 11.Â
The medical examiner has determined the death was caused by blunt-force trauma. Â
Police provided no details on any suspects.Â
